What a beautiful Oasis!
We happened upon Finca Lagarto purely by chance through Ellen’s friend Mieke. In 1 month of travelling & camping in Spain, its hands-down the best place we’ve stayed .

Un grand merci pour l’accueil trés chaleureuse! L’environnement du camping mous a beaucoup plu, entre oliviers, amandiers et vigne...cést trés nature, tout comme nous aimons! La tente est trés agréable et nous avons particulièrement apprécié la décoration trés cozy et romantique!♥️
Merci aussi pour les bons conseils de visite, la situation géographique fermet de nombreuses visites dans la région. Nous avons été charmé par Ronda, et époustouflé par le Caminito de Rey....Bref, excellente séjau dont nous nous souviendrons!

Ellen gives you a warm welcome and the trust to respect the surrounding and it’s the most beautiful place to take in the wonderfull views. It was close enough to visit interesting cities and relax on the lovely beach you recommended, but really relaxing ....we did here on this beautiful campsite.

We had a wonderfull stay here at Finca Lagarto!
We’d been looking for small campsites in southern Spain for a while and were so happy to find this spot. Spending our days hiking, swimming, visiting nearby towns, and just relaxing was the perfect way to spend our weekend.

Ellen I was fortunate enough to come across your website recently and am so happy I did!
As promised the site is a little oasis up in the mountains but just a 20 min drive to Marbella. I was lucky to be here while the almond trees blossomed, nicely combined with the agave and cactus mountain. Being so close to the Sierra de las Nieves national park I was able to discover the great hiking which was truly amazing and I enjoyed it to the full.
I shall higly recommend your beautiful campsite on my future travels”.

Wir haben deine Finca Lagarto als Tipp von Camping-freunden erhalten. "Gott sei Dank".
Wir waren erst 1 Woche in deinem Caravan und haben die Zeit schon sehr genossen. Du bist so hilfsbereit gewesen als wir angekommen sind und dann durften wir noch unseren "Truderich" hier stehen lassen um einen kurzen Trip nach Marocco zu unternehmen. Deine Finca ist ein Traum und wir haben uns jederzeit "zu Hause"gefühlt.

Lieber Ellen,
Wir sind sehr froh dass wir deine Finca (Traumgarten) gefunden haben. Nach 10 Tagen würden wir es noch viel länger aushalten. Wir haben die Ruhe und eure Gastfreundschaft sehr genossen. Besonders schön fänden wir den Steingarten un die Kakteen.
Wir werden auf jeden Fall dich und deine Finca weiterempfehlen. :-)
