We finally got around to do the famous El Caminito del Rey walk at el Chorro. It was amazing!
We were lucky to go out there on a beautiful sunny winter's day, just before Covid restrictions were put in place of our municipality, Monda the next day.
Just a 50 minute drive from Finca Lagarto will see you amongst Pine and Oak trees surroundings 3 amazing turquoise coloured lakes. The perfect place to relax, swim, fish, kayak, acue or pedal boat. But the most ezciting reason to visit El Chorro is the famous El Caminito del Rey ( the kings path). This natural canyon made by the river will captivate you. The route is 8 km in total of which 5 km is along a gentle arial walkway. During your walk you will see many plant and animal species, the most stupendous being the vultures hovering at het top of the canyopn.
But don't worry, the vulures are friendly!!!
